European Radar Data and the Challenge of Quality Control

We’re now processing the EUMETNET OPERA composite, making pan-European radar reflectivity available alongside the North American radar products we already offer. But combining radar data from more than 30 countries and over 160 radars comes with some unique challenges. In this post, we look at what those challenges look like, how they compare with MRMS, and how we’re working with the data in Boxer and Terrier.
